NOBUSHI LEGACY
For centuries the thunderous sounds of Samurai Drums have summond the Gods and chilled the fields of battle. NOBUSHI started performing in 1998 and has thrilled audiences around the world with their powerful performance or real Japanese Samurai Battle Drumming.
NOBUSHI were fearsome mercenary warriors who went from on battlefeild to the next during the warring states period in Japan. Bound by the Samurai Code “Bushido”, yet served no single Lord.

One of the most prolific Wadaiko drummers in the world, Kunihiro Kawahara has brough NOBUSHI to play sold-out venues throughout the world. Including; U.S., South America, Europe, South East Asia, Taiwan, Russia and throughout Japan. As the legendary head coach for the Junior group to Nobushi, Wadaiko Tagiri, Kawahara-Sensei lead the group to an unprecedented three national championship titles.
